Atonement
The story of this drama film, Atonement, starts with a girl called Briony who is thirteen and loves write novels; she has got a good imagination to create stories.
In 1935, when it was summer, she was obsessed on the son of one servant of her rich family and she always looks and keeps an eye on him. But when she discovered that this boy, Robbie, was lover of her sister Cecilia, Briony made that the police accused him of a crime that he didn’t. This Briony’s misunderstanding broke the love relation between her sister Cecilia and Robbie, and it also was the beginning of the big change in their lives.
When Briony was older, 18 years old more or less, she realized that she has made a mistake and had broken the love between the two lovers. She decided to apologise with them but it wasn’t like she had wanted; she never could apologise with her sister. And because of that, one of her novels was based on them and with a happy ending.
