Welcome e-mail

Hello!!

I’m Laia Saló and this year you'll be our English teacher again like 4th of ESO so, we know ourselves =)
Well, I don’t know what original thing to tell you but I can let you know what has been of me this last summer 2008.
In summer I never travel with my family because my father has got a job that in this season he has to work very hard so, we can’t leave far; we’ve to spend the summer in our town.

These school holidays I haven’t worked yet and I’ve had a lot of time to do different things:
When my parents were working, everyday they leave me the list of things that I had to do at home, for example: the lunch, the shopping, the cleaning… But this only was in the morning, usually the afternoon I had time for me.
In my free time I took the opportunity to advance my project of 2nd of Batxillerat which gives us a lot of work.
Sometimes, I met my friend who lives in the same town where I live, St Pere Pescador, and we rode our bike and visited some towns around St Pere or campsites that in our town we have seven to choose, and few times we went to the beach to sunbathe and have an ice-cream, it was more relaxing.
However, the place where I really have spent more time it has been in the campsite where my father works, it's called Las Dunas. There, I have a lot of friends and every year we met to play, to talk or to go out together, especially go to the discothèque Hot Fata which is next to the campsite. I didn’t only go there in the daytime; I’ve spent lots of nights there too, because two good friends invited me to sleep in their tent. These days are very funny and very intense but it’s also sad, because I only can see them in summer time; they’re from Spain but don't nearly.
Of course, I also met with my friends from Castelló and other towns, but it has been a few times because they worked during the summer.

From my point of view, this summer has been short but intense, but now it’s the time to start the last academic year of Batxillerat in Castelló and we’ll have to work and study very hard to pass the exams.

See you later!!*
