spending their holidays there only think to come back at home early because they don’t want to run the risk of to get the flu. However, there are some people who want to spend all their holidays there wearing a mask, but not leave from Mexico until their end holidays.
The Cancun beach, its economy and its hotels depends on tourists but now the situation is exasperating: Cancun, the capital of Mexico, is like a desert.

Cut short = escorçar/reduir (les vacances)
Swine = porc
Flu = grip
Exasperating = desesperant
